Rachi Residence, Leros island
Another example of a stone build house inserted in a rocky steep slope, overlooking three bays. All made with stone, wood and natural materials, keeps company to the eagles.
It is entirely built in the traditional way, in stone, with wooden ceilings and wooden floors. We realized this project in the years 1999-2000. The house consists in a spacious entrance with a big glazed-in sitting area that serves as a day-room, a living area in two levels (a living room with a dining area in the first level and a kitchen in the higher level), a bedroom with a walk-in closet and an on suite bathroom in one level and on the higher level you will find three bedrooms with a sharing bathroom. The property has three verandas with stunning views to the sea and a breathtaking sunset. Below you can see the construction phase as well as the final product.
