Residence in Xiròkambos, Leros island
It's a stone made house in Xirokambos area in the island of Leros, in distance of 50 meters from the sea, in a land of 2.000 sq.m. with a big steep slope. It has a big view over Xirokambos bay, as well as to the open sea and small islands that make a small local polynesia.
It was built in 2004-2005, in the upper part of the plot, in two levels, with amazing terraces with view to the sunset. The central volume is in the second level and consists in two bedrooms with living room and open plan kitchen/dining room while the first level has a garage and a story space. Within the plot we have created a road leading to the main road and the beach, wile in the back of the house we arranged a terace with B.b.q and sitting place. The house was build in stone and wood, in typical island style, very minimalistic but still sofisticated and with all modern ammenities.
